PostSubject: Entrevista a ROCKOON de Novembre!!!!!!!!!!   Entrevista a ROCKOON de Novembre!!!!!!!!!! Empty31/10/2008, 6:12 am

Hola!!!!!!!

ENTREVISTA:

Since Cinema Bizarre, presently without Luminor, are
touring extensively, we asked Shin, Strify, Kiro & Yu for a small
talk centring on their live experience in the North. After all, Sweden,
Norway, Finland and even Estonia were on the tour schedule.

Rockoon:
The concert you played in Oslo recently could almost have been
considered a private gig for – as nobody seemed to have realised before
– admission to the club was granted to people aged 18 and more only.
What kind of club was that?

Kiro: A normal club for people older
than 18! Was kind of a pity because fans younger than 18 did not get
the chance to see the concert. But next time for sure!
Yu: Actually
the club was like every other club in some way and in some way not, but
there was an amazing amount of waste bins. (laughs)
Strify:
Principally, the club wasn't special at all. There were no pornographic
pictures on the walls if that's what you're hinting at. According to
the law in Oslo, clubs and bars that serve alcohol are for people over
18 only.
Shin: That was a totally normal club except for its source
of capital being alcohol, that's why it's for people older than 18.
Pretty pooty for the younger fans. I thought it was a shame too.

And how did you feel about the whole evening?

Strify:
It was just very odd. Needless to say that the atmosphere was a lot
different from the one in clubs that are fully crowded. But this way we
could reach out to every single person much easier.
Yu: Despite of
the intimate atmosphere the evening as great for me. It was lacking the
energy of the large mass that we're used to, of course, but I gave my
best anyway. The people present deserved to see a great concert after
all. (grins)
Kiro: The evening was very intimate and special, the fans were in a great mood and really rocked. (laughs)
Shin:
I think the evening was cool! Simply because the atmosphere was
different from the one we usually experience during our concerts. We
gained another experience at any rate! (grins)

Is Oslo really one of the most expensive cities in the world? Can you name one or two examples to demonstrate this?

Kiro: Yes, that's incredible, a packet of cigarettes costs 12 Euro!!! Good thing I brought some with me from home.
Shin:
Yes. Oslo is one of the most expensive cities in the world. To me it
was the most expensive city I visited in my life so far... That's why I
didn't spend any money there... Even McDoof [= McDumb = a name
McDonalds goes by in German-speaking countries] was expensive...
Yu:
I didn't really notice anything about the city because all I did was
leaving the tour bus to go to the club, but it's definitely expensive
there, at least that's what I got told...
Strify:I only got to see
Oslo through the bus window, that's why I can't say anything about the
prices. However, I have a friend from Norway who's living in Berlin at
the moment. And to him everything is incredibly cheap.

And did you encounter anything that seemed typically Norwegian somehow?
Strify: Norwegian people maybe. And fish hamburgers.
Kiro: I saw a lot of very good-looking people. (laughs)
Shin:
We took the ferry... and I started to feel a little nauseous!
Otherwise, I didn't notice a lot of Norwegian things because I was
either busy sleeping or playing PSP.
Yu: I don't really remember
anything; I only hope that the clubs being for people older than 18 is
not typically Norwegian. (grins)

In Stockholm, in addition to
the show, you went to the studio you had been at for the first album.
Please tell us what you did at the studio on that day... And does the
"child" already have a name?

Shin: Big secret! Ask this question again once the album is released. (grins)
Strify:
Yes, the child does have a name. But at the moment, there are several
babies and children all around us. And it's bad luck to talk about
something that cannot even walk yet. Please bear with us a little
longer. (grins)

What about new songs in general – are you already more or less done with some of them?
Kiro: We already have some awesome new songs, won't reveal anything more, though. (laughs)
Shin: Yes, we do have new songs already and continue to write many more and try out a lot.
Yu:
We've been very busy already. (grins) I have plenty of ideas for songs
and lyrics. You can definitely look forward to how the album develops,
but we don't want to give away too much.
Strify: It's all still at
the demo stage. And it hasn't been determined yet if a song remains
unaltered or if it will end up on the new album.

Strify, you said you'd always feel this certain 'Pop Vibe' whenever you're in Stockholm. Can you explain what you mean by this?
Strify:
No exactly. I like Stockholm a lot. Maybe it's only just the people.
When you look back – or at the present situation – [it's clear that]
the pop culture from Sweden is tremendous. There were icons such as
Greta Garbo and Zarah Leander as well as ABBA. The teen music of the
90s came from Sweden too. No matter if you liked all this or not,
Britney Spears, *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys wouldn't be what they
are now if it weren't for Swedish songwriters. And at the moment, I
think the singer Robyn, who's from Stockholm as well, is wonderful.

And what's typically Swedish in your opinion?
Kiro: Great blond hair. (laughs)
Yu: Crispbread. (laughs) I like it.
Strify: Blond hair maybe.
Shin: IKEA and a lot of blond-haired people. (grins)

The catering in Helsinki was allegedly the best of the whole tour. What food have you been spoiled with?
Kiro: Everything was simply great. (laughs) There was such a wide range of food, a lot of fruit too! That was really cool!
Yu: The catering in Helsinki was really delicious! I didn't eat more than a little meat, though, but that was great too. (grins)
Strify: I don't really remember anymore... It was really good by all means. (grins)
Shin: There was a really wide range of food; I didn't know where to start, and, furthermore, is was tasty.

Strify, when you were down in the stage pit, someone (unintentionally) hit you right in the face with the microphone...?
Strify: Yes, something like this happens now and then. But nothing really happened. No broken teeth and blood. (laughs)

In
addition, you've been to Estonia. In the capital Tallinn more
precisely. Did you also have to check its actual location on a map at
first?

Strify: I knew that Tallinn is situated very close to
Russia, but apart from that I indeed checked its surroundings up, how
big the country is and so on. It's not that you get to Estonia often.
(grins) The audience there was very wild. (grins)
Shin: Yes, that's
what I did at first when I heard that we would be going to Tallinn! And
I even immediately found it on the map! (laughs)
Kiro: No, I roughly
knew where it's situated. (laughs) Tallinn is a beautiful little town.
I would even like to go on holiday there one day, very relaxing and
very rural.
Yu: The stay there was very amusing. (laughs) We didn't
even have a map. I always carry this little world map in my mind and
think: "Yes, that's somewhere there". (laughs)

What kind of impression did Estonia generally leave on you?

Yu:
What struck me was that people don't say "thanks" or "you're welcome"
in restaurants, and the people there generally seemed to be pretty
taciturn to me. Maybe that's only because I went to the wrong places.
(laughs) But the old town was very nice to look at...
Kiro: The
language is very funny. (laughs) But apart from that I got a great
impression, as I already said, Tallinn is simply beautiful and well
worth seeing!
Strify: Tallinn's old town was very nice indeed. We had a day off and took a look at the town.
Shin:
The people there are very straightforward and know what they want! The
town is beautiful as well – a lot of old buildings and castles.

And wasn't it generally colder in the North, a different climate of some sort?

Shin: It was rather cold and windy. Bought myself a shapka there, keeps you very warm.
Kiro:
Right, it was very cold, that's why we always went to the sauna.
(laughs) But you get used to everything, it's just that I don't have
enough clothes to keep me warm!
Strify: Oh yes, especially Finland was much colder.
Yu:
In Estonia it was much colder than in the previous countries, even for
someone like me who hardly ever gets cold. Whereas Norway was very cold
as well and provided a Christmassy atmosphere. (laughs)

What that's considered "winterly" do you look forward to now that it's getting winter again...?
Kiro:
To the Christmas season in general, when everything is nicely decorated
again in the streets, all the lights, Christmas markets... and so on.
(laughs) And I also look forward to snow a little!
Yu: Christmas
baking of course and unfortunately. (laughs) To the snow we will
hopefully have plenty of. To Father Christmas... what, he doesn't exist?
Strify: To a nice cuppa in the studio during recording for the album.
Shin: A lot of snow, gingerbread, Christmas and to take a walk outside wrapped up like an onion.
